This campaign was managed and directed by Vazul Szakacs during his previous tenure as Marketing Director.
Vision & Objectives
Building on the extraordinary success of the first campaign, Nepal, in partnership with USAID, sought to further redefine its identity as a global tourism destination.
This second campaign expanded on previous themes of culture, adventure, and wellness while deepening its focus on sustainability and community empowerment.
By targeting high-value travelers from the USA, Canada, and Western Europe, the initiative aimed to inspire transformative journeys, foster economic resilience, and solidify Nepal’s standing as a premier tourism destination.
Impact & Key Results

Exceeding even the wildly successful first campaign, these results underscore the unmatched potential of USAID’s market-driven strategies combined with compelling storytelling to amplify Nepal’s tourism appeal.
This second campaign set a new benchmark for destination marketing, driving global visibility while catalyzing economic growth and sustainable development.
Immersive Content Creation & Distribution
Over a 10-day journey, five world-class influencers delved deeper into Nepal’s multifaceted tourism offerings, producing 330 social media posts that celebrated its cultural richness, natural beauty, and innovative wellness experiences.
With the support of USAID, a Capacity Enhancement Workshop provided local hoteliers and tour operators with advanced digital storytelling tools, strengthening locally-led development and empowering Nepal’s tourism sector.
This second phase leveraged the momentum of the first campaign to inspire global audiences to discover Nepal’s full potential beyond its iconic trekking routes.
Influencer Partnerships & Engaged Leadership
Vazul Szakacs was on the ground once again, ensuring seamless coordination and acting as a cultural expert and liaison between USAID, the Nepal Tourism Board, and the influencer team. His remarks to an audience of prominent Nepali officials, dignitaries, and U.S. Ambassador Dean R. Thompson emphasized USAID’s commitment to capacity building and stakeholder collaboration.
This hands-on leadership enabled influencers to authentically capture Nepal’s essence, delivering results that surpassed expectations and cementing the nation’s status as a must-visit destination for sustainable and transformative travel.
